Structure
f o r m a t i o is a secondary comprehensive school (grades 6-9). Differentiation takes place within the classroom according to students’ needs in each subject. Classes are taught in German and English.
Individualization / Differentiation
Through individualization and differentiation students are given the opportunity to learn school subjects at a level that best suits their abilities. This way individual talents can be encouraged in some areas and weaknesses compensated for in others.
Strengthening strengths
In the secondary school, your child’s strengths are of central importance. Through various student-centred teaching methods and extensive elective projects, your child’s talents can be developed to their fullest.
Bilingual education
In addition to regular English lessons, two further classes are taught in English. Bilingual education at the secondary level helps expand the students’ knowledge of English and allows for a natural approach to learning the language. At the same time, students acquire a heightened understanding of other cultures, biases are broken down, and open-mindedness is encouraged.
Holistic education
At f o r m a t i o secondary school we accompany your child through the storms of puberty and support him/her along the difficult route from childhood to young adulthood. Through our clearly structured rules we want to help your child develop into a self-confident, tolerant, socially competent and courteous young person.
Day school
The secondary school is run as a day school from 08:00 till 17:00 Monday through Friday. All school work, homework and test preparation is taken care of during the school day under teacher supervision. Students may also have lunch at school.
The day school concept guarantees that leisure time activities and family life are free from schoolwork stress.
