We place high emphasis on foreign language competence and offer your child the opportunity to expand his/her horizons through school trips to European and North American cultural centres. Moreover, your child will have the opportunity to have contact with peers from various European countries through active participation in European educational programmes.

 

In terms of life long learning, one of the most important tasks is to help children maintain their interest and joy of learning and encourage the development of self-motivation. At f o r m a t i o your child will not be penalized for what s/he does not know. We rather concentrate on his/her strengths and do as much as possible to develop them. In this way, your child will have learning experiences which are based on his/her interests and abilities. f o r m a t i o also offers your child a wide variety of learning methods such as open learning, study time, and project work among others.

 

 

 
 

Learning Under Self-Control (LUS) is a teaching and learning concept based on important knowledge from learning and brain research which optimizes the results of the lessons. Through this method, the learning process is more focused and quicker and the information is remembered for a much longer time, than in other teaching methods. One of the central elements of LUS is the use of focused relaxation exercises which prepare the students for the learning process, focus their attention, increase motivation, positively influence their work attitude, strengthens self confidence and supports psychological stability. In addition, these contemplative learning phases create a comfortable, relaxed and especially anxiety-free school atmosphere.
