PATHFINDER
“Pioneering AI Technology in Higher Education to
Facilitate Innovation and Nurture the Development of Entrepreneurial Resources”
formatio Private School is once again a cooperation partner of the University of Liechtenstein, this time in the Erasmus+ project “PATHFINDER”. Over the course of 36 months between 2024 and July 2026, a toolkit for teachers, pupils and students on the sensible and safe use of artificial intelligence will be developed. An app and a course on “AI Media Literacy” will also be created.
International cooperation and the exchange of best practice examples are also the focus of this project: under the leadership of the Institute for Entrepreneurship at the University of Liechtenstein, the formatio private school is working together with the Croatian Sveuciliste u Dubrovniku University and the Finnish LAB University of Applied Sciences on practical educational concepts to strengthen self-efficacy, self-confidence and self-awareness in a dynamic world.

As a school that is committed to innovation in the context of digitalization, we are particularly proud to be a partner of the digital-liechtenstein.li initiative. Günther Kaiser, our principal, represents our educational concerns for the age of digitalization. As a partner, we have also been active on Digital Day in the past two years: in 2018, around 1,000 visitors were able to experience our classroom of the future, and in 2019 we hosted a “Tell Event” to discuss education and digitalization with the general public.
Network
of Austrian schools abroad
As an Austrian school abroad, the Oberstufengymnasium is part of a network with schools from Istanbul to Guatemala. We benefit from exchanges in the context of (digital) teaching projects and the opportunity to visit each other for mutual benchmarking.

Networking within Schulnetz21, the Swiss network of health-promoting and sustainable schools, helps us to focus on forward-looking concepts in the area of education for sustainable development and health promotion.
Practice school
As a practice school, we regularly supervise student teachers at all levels at the formatio private school. We are pleased to welcome students from various teacher training colleges in Switzerland.
