Taking responsibility for oneself and one’s environment is an educational goal of formatio Private School.

It is therefore important to us to make a sustainable contribution to the community and to place education as a central topic in the public debate.

“Bildungsforum” – Annual Forum on Education

It is the goal of formatio Private School to contribute to the further development of the educational landscape and educational concepts in the Principality of Liechtenstein, Eastern Switzerland and Vorarlberg. For this reason, the “Bildungsforum”, an annual Forum on Education, was established in the 2014 . Every year, formatio Private School invites renowned experts to Liechtenstein to offer their expertise and share their perspective to the interested public.

School Democracy

We want to educate our students to become critical citizens within a set of democratic values. Pupils can therefore play an active role in shaping the school in the students’ parliament.

The students’ parliament is headed by the annually elected student representatives.

Experiencing Sustainability: Ackerschule

As the first school in Liechtenstein, the formatio private school is an Ackerschule (farming school).

an Ackerschule, we take responsibility for sustainable development and are committed to achieving the sustainable development goals by the UN. Our school garden becomes a place of learning and knowledge transfer. Primary and secondary school students grow organic vegetables and experience where our food comes from. The harvested vegetables are processed directly from the field in our Cafeteria. We are pleased to carry out the educational programme GemüseAckerdemie in cooperation with the association Ackerschaft as a pilot school in Liechtenstein.
The GemüseAckerdemie is an educational programme of the Ackerdemia e.V. in Germany. In Liechtenstein, the programme is run by the Ackerschaft association on behalf of the GemüseAckerdemie Schweiz. The formatio private school is conducting the programme in 2020 for the first time in Liechtenstein as a pilot school.
