Responsibility & publicity
Taking responsibility for oneself and one’s environment is an educational goal of formatio Private School.
It is therefore important to us to make a sustainable contribution to society and to place education as a central topic in the public debate.

formatio Private School has set itself the goal of contributing to the further development of the educational landscape and educational concepts in the Principality of Liechtenstein, Eastern Switzerland and Vorarlberg. For this reason, the Education Forum was launched in the 2013/14 school year. Every year, formatio Privatschule now invites renowned experts to Liechtenstein to offer all interested parties the opportunity to follow the current education debate at first hand.

School democracy
It is important to us to educate our students to become critical citizens within a democratic canon of values.
Pupils can therefore play an active role in shaping the school as part of school democracy. The pupil parliament was set up for this purpose, giving pupils responsibility and a say. The student parliament is led by the school representative team.
Agricultural school
The formatio private school is the first school in Liechtenstein to be a
field school.
As a field school, we take responsibility for sustainable development and are committed to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Our school garden thus becomes a place of learning and knowledge transfer. Primary and secondary school pupils grow organic vegetables there and experience where our food comes from. The vegetables harvested are processed fresh from the field in our canteen. We are delighted to be running the GemüseAckerdemie educational program in cooperation with the Ackerschaft association as a pilot school in Liechtenstein.
The GemüseAckerdemie is an educational program of Ackerdemia e.V. in Germany. In Liechtenstein, the program is run by the Ackerschaft association on behalf of GemüseAckerdemie Schweiz. The formatio private school is running the program for the first time in Liechtenstein in 2020 as a pilot school.
